RESIDENTIAL MAINTENANCE HAS BEEN PUT UP TO
Rs.2 per sft. from Rs.1.70 per sft.
from 1st December 2012.
With the ever increasing level of price levels, cost of carrying out regular maintenance works, increase in wages, electricity charges, maintenance of other equipments such as lifts etc., the increase appears to be inevitable.
But what is suggested is
monitoring the expenses we make towards ornamental things.
It would be prudent to
cut the expenses wherever it is possible and
wherever you find that the expenses are not inevitable.
Functions like Vinayaka Chathurthi, Golu etc., are mostly funded by willing contributors only.
Why not we do the same for Annual Day, Independence Day etc.
Let residents who would like the annual day celebrations or independence day contribute towards.
It is not that we do not like these functions, but for pensioners like us, who live on
pensions fixed at the time of retirement ( which do not increase like Govt.pensioners on every hike in the increase of wages for regular employees)
even a five paise increase is hitting the belt.
We do appreciate the good work done by the people who govern the Association.
