முந்தி விநாயகரே !!

We were special guests for Vinayaka Chathurthi at New Zealand where Madam Thulasi hosted us. So attracted by Vinayaka, I asked the Lord whether He would mind paying a visit to my blog. He readily agreed. I did not so far ask for Madam Thulasi's permission, but when God Ganesha himself decides, I thought, He would have communicated my desire to Madam Thulasi.


முன்னவனே முன் நின்றால்
முடியாத பொருள் உளதோ ?
இங்கே ஒரு அதிசயம் பாருங்கள்.

முருகப் பெருமானுக்கும் கண்ணனுக்குமே உரித்தான மயில் தோகைதனை
back drop ல் வினாயகர் படு குஷியாக இருக்கிறார். குமரன் பார்த்தால்
கோவித்துக்கொள்ளமாட்டாரோ ! ஏற்கனவே அவர் ஆவலுடன் தின்ன வந்த‌
பழத்தை இவர் எடுத்துக்கொண்டார். ( of course given by parents only)
இப்போ மயில் தோகைதனையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டாரே !
ஒருவேளை தான் ந்யூ ஜீலேன்டுலே இருப்பது முருகனுக்குத் தெரியாது.
அவர்தான் 7 x 24 ட்யூடியில் தனது பக்தர்களைக் காத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறாரே
என நினைத்தாரோ என்னவோ ! நாம் அறியோம்.

எதுவாக இருந்தாலும் சரி. மயில் இறகு back drop
அழகாக மட்டும் இல்லை.அற்புதமாகவும் இருக்கிறது.

(There is a speciality here, in that Lord Vinayaka himself wears the feathers of peacock usually worn by his younger brother Lord Muruga. Possibly He thought, being in a far off land, his younger brother (amidst his 24 hour duties to protect His Bhakthas) would not notice it.)

So exciting and exhilerating is this prayer to God Ganesha, that I composed this in three different raagas, Hamsadwani, Kanada, and lastly, in a very favourite tune, almost clinging to my heart, which brings out the essence of one's soul into bhakthi bhava.

We pray to God Ganesa to shower all His Best on Madam Kavinaya and her family members.
